The World of Coal - news
According to the latest BP Statistical Review of World Energy, coal´s consumption in 2010 was at its highest since 1970 an accounted for 29.6%. This compares to a share of 25.6% 10 years ago. Global coal consumption in 2010 grew by 7.6%, which is faster than natrural gas (7.4%), oil (3.1%), nuclear (2%) and hydro (5.3%). BP also reported that the reserves to production (R/P) ratio for coal in 2010 was 118 years, in comparison to 119 in 2009.... more

Company code of ethics
The Board of Directors of OKD has adopted a Company code of ethics that is obligatory for all the employees of the firm. It defines basic values and attitudes to enterprise that OKD conforms to in the course of its business activities.
The code of ethics is not any binding rule of law or internal directive, it represents, however, a moral obligation for each employee of OKD.
